French Translator full-time contract in London. Arabic an advantage!
Position: French/Arabic/English Translator
Contract: Full-time, minimum 6 months

Our client is an established and growing law firm based in London. They are currently looking to hire a UK qualified, preferably native French/Arabic translator to help them expand into new markets. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading Immigration Law firms in the UK.

Based in the West End of London, our client is recognised as a leading niche law firm specialising in UK Immigration, Nationality, European Union and Human Rights law. Our client is a private law firm committed solely to the needs of our clients in the UK and internationally. With over twenty years of experience, our client provides legal representation to international business executives, private and public companies, banks, investors and individuals on their often complex and contentious matters.
The Role
The role includes translations of letters and legal and financial documents from French and Arabic into English, and from English into French and Arabic. We are looking for a translator who can provide certified translations for the French courts and immigration authorities. Due to the extremely confidential nature of our work, the translator must work from our offices in Marble Arch. The work is connected to tight deadlines, so a flexibility regarding work hours is a must.
Requirements
• Bilingual English/French speaker
• Qualified for translating both into French and English – CIL or similar
• Qualified for translating in Arabic is a great advantage
• Minimum 2 years of translation experience
• Good knowledge of the legal sector/vocabulary
• Candidate must be able to provide sample translations on request
Please note that our client is very concerned about both accuracy and fluency of the translations, so please refrain from applying if your work needs extensive editing.
