The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery – you will get to make an impact on nearly every facet of our projects. This role requires an understanding of project management and product management and the willingness to leverage these skills to manage some of our most exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Manages all aspects of solution implementation from inception to deployment.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of Future's product offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
• Serves as conduit for requirements gathering.
• Generates project plans and allocates resources.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of project deliverables.
• Minimizes exposure, manages scope, and mitigates risk across projects.
Product Management:
• Collates requirements from stakeholders and facilitates strategic directions.
• Captures product requirements for product features, including creating wireframes, user stories, and other required documentation.
• Ensures proper metrics are reported – fanatical about data and data driven product development.
• Works closely with ad operations and audience development to drive and optimize campaigns and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Interaction:
• Manages day-to-day stakeholder interaction and expectations for multiple and/or large-scale projects.
• Troubleshoots issues and escalates as required.
• Builds strong working relationships with Future Studios staff, internal partners, and stakeholders (i.e. our external clients, sales, editorial/creative staff and management).
General Requirements:
• Demonstrates a general understanding of web site components, including architecture, design, programming, usability, e-marketing, and software development.
• Evokes creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas to fruition.
• Exhibits strong negotiation skills.
• Able to translate unstructured thoughts into clear and concise messages.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and is commercially aware.
• Extreme attention to detail and quality.
Key Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience
• 3+ years project management experience in successfully delivering internet solutions, preferably in a client-service organization
• Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from inception to final delivery
• Proficient MS Project, Visio, OmniGraffle or Balsamiq.
• Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Exposure to publishing and/or media industry, and/or video game industry a plus
• University degree (BA/BS)
