Ffilm sales and distribution company, is looking for an upbeat intern to learn about international film sales and international markets like MIPCOM, Tokyo and Berlin. You will attend domestic film festivals with the team and learn in-depth about sales, acquisitions and marketing.
Intern will assist in daily office work, mailing, phones, scheduling meetings, heavy film and company research. Great communication, writing and professional skills are required because we work with multiple international clients on a daily basis. Ideal candidate has fitting credentials, upbeat attitude, and an interest in learning about film distribution and financing.
Skills: Very computer savvy, with own laptop. Proficient in MS office programs, knows Mac AND Windows. Photoshop and editing skills are an added advantage. Extremely detail-oriented and organized with an ability to multitask, and keep up with the work pace. Also, tenacity for scouting good films will lead to commission structure.
Current college or grad school students preferred.
