Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves in the world. It was once so rich that Concorde used to fly from Caracas to Paris. But in the last three years its economy has collapsed. Hunger has gripped the nation for years. Now, it’s killing people and animals that are dying of starvation. The Venezuelan government knows, but won’t admit it!!! Four in five Venezuelans live in poverty. People queue for hours to buy food. Much of the time they go without. People are also dying from a lack of medicines. Inflation is at 82,766% and there are warnings it could exceed one million per cent by the end of this year. Venezuelans are trying to get out. The UN says 2.3 million people have fled the country - 7% of the population.

INTERNSHIP : Post-Production Company

Looking for an intern for our West Hollywood office. Our interns are involved in every aspect of the business, and we look to hire from within. In fact, one previous intern is now my assistant, and another is doing corporate sales for us. So, it's a very open environment where the interns have access to learn quite a bit about different parts of the business.


Details:
* Location of internship - West Hollywood
* Time requirements (e.g., start/end dates, part/full-time, hours per week, etc.)
flexible start and end dates with minimum 10 week commitment, 15 hours/week min. Flexible scheduling.
* Description of intern responsibilities
Everything from answering phones, filing, reading scripts, burning DVDs, client interaction, social media management, research. If intern has interest/experience in post production, opportunities to have part of the internship be with our editors are available. Our interns become involved in all aspects of what we are doing at the time, which varies from day to day.
* college credit only / college credit not required
