Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves in the world. It was once so rich that Concorde used to fly from Caracas to Paris. But in the last three years its economy has collapsed. Hunger has gripped the nation for years. Now, it’s killing people and animals that are dying of starvation. The Venezuelan government knows, but won’t admit it!!! Four in five Venezuelans live in poverty. People queue for hours to buy food. Much of the time they go without. People are also dying from a lack of medicines. Inflation is at 82,766% and there are warnings it could exceed one million per cent by the end of this year. Venezuelans are trying to get out. The UN says 2.3 million people have fled the country - 7% of the population.

Visual media design firm seeks an in-house contract 3D Artist/Animator with full-time potential.
Position includes: creation of 3D content for animations/illustrations, 3D Modeling/Texturing, Fluid Simulation, and Compositing.

Requirements:
• Must be extremely organized and reliable
• 5 years minimum professional work experience in animation production
• Well developed illustration skills
• Strong sense of dynamic camera shots and movements
• Extensive training and hands-on experience with all aspects of animation process, including 3D Modeling (Polygonal/NURBS), UV/Projection Mapping, Lighting/Shaders and, most importantly, Animation
• Must possess STRONG expertise in Lightwave or Maya, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Very knowledgeable with video codecs and compression for output via web and DVD/CD
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and with others
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within set project deadlines
